Episode 29: “Behind Enemy Lines: Colombia”

Every now and then as a podcaster, you sit down and do a show that can be considered “chaos in a bottle.” At On This Very Screen, the temptation to do that is stronger than you think, especially when you’ve got a certified stinker to watch and everyone’s still full off Thanksgiving turkey. Long story short? THIS is that show.

On this episode, the boys take on Behind Enemy Lines: Colombia, and get a lot more than they bargain for. Starring Joe Manganiello (True Blood, Justice League), Keith David (The Thing, They Live) and former WWE Superstar, Mr. Kennedy (Kennedy),  this movie takes us to South America where a group of Navy Seals have to find their way out of enemy territory after an op gone horribly wrong. Throughout the show, the OTVS crew goes off on every tangent imaginable — from the genius of Magic Mike movies, old FMV video games, and of course, Goldberg’s shirtless son.

Did You Know? Joe “Deathstroke” Manganiello is a lifelong wrestling fan, and has been spotted with wife Sofia Vergara at at least one PWG show in Southern California. His impressions of the Macho Man Randy Savage as well as “Ravishing” Rick Rude are also the stuff of legend.
