After the craziness of last week, the boys have responded to the new political landscape with the inaugural entry from “The Bollea Collection,” a feature we’ll have here from time to time focusing on WWE Studios alum and — perhaps the greatest patriot of the modern era — Hulk “Terry Bollea” Hogan. First up? Surburban Commando, and well, the trailer speaks for itself.
This one might be hard to find in terms of DVD/Blu-Ray, so rent it on YouTube for $2.99!
HAPPY HALLOWEEN, ScreenTeam! The boys are back in the studio to follow up with the second of our Halloween horror double-shot courtesy of WWE Studios, as we record TONIGHT for the Luke Evans gore-a-mania, No One Lives! Check the trailer above or watch the movie on YouTube for just $2.99!
Welp, after a little break, it’s October here at On This Very Screen, which means the boys will be hunkering down and giving you a double-shot of that sweet, sweet horror goodness that only WWE Studios can bring you. First up? We’re looking at the WWE’s take on the popular… horror… franchise, Leprechaun, as they tap their resident little bastard, Hornswoggle, for Leprechaun: Origins!
Get the movie now for a $2.99 on iTunes or YouTube!
This Wednesday, the boys are back in the studio with stand-up/writer, Stephen Ku, when we take on 12 Rounds 3: Lockdown starring the “lunatic fringe,” himself, Dean Ambrose! Check out the trailer above, and get ready for episode 25 going live this Friday!
The OTVS crew is joined by stand-up comic, Mean Dave, as they tackle the WWE’s first movie not to feature a WWE superstar, 2012’s horror-mystery-thriller, Barricade. Check out the trailer above and saddle in!
It’s finally here! The long-awaited sequel to “Scooby-Doo! and WWE: Wrestlemania Mystery” is finally out from WWE Studios, and the OTVS crew is raring to go! Check out the trailer, watch it on Blu-Ray, DVD, or Digital HD, and get ready for On This Very Screen’s one-year anniversary next week!
TONIGHT, the boys are joined by the voice of wrestling cult phenomenon, Hoodslam, and current contestant on Dwayne Johnson’s Rock the Promo contest, A.J. Kirsch, with a preview of The Marine 4: Moving Target! The Miz reprises his role from the The Marine 3: Homefront, taking on a South African mercenary (wait, really?) as he protects government whistleblower, Melissa Roxburgh. It’s guns, more guns, and Summer Rae — is THIS is the Marine movie we’ve been waiting for, or will we just be waiting on Neal McDonough to save the day?
Damn right it is, ScreenTeam, as the OTVS gang is back in the studio for a review of the family… drama? Comedy? Action flick? Well, whatever it is, it exists, and we’ve got one hell of a review for you coming up later this week. Peep the trailer, here, and check it out on Hulu.com if you wanna connect the dots along with us. How many bad guys does this movie have? Who’s a more perfect man than John Cena? And where’d the rest of Ethan Embry’s hairline go?
Well, this is something — Terrence Howard, Noomi Rapace, Colin Farrell, and Dominic Cooper are all in the same crime thriller? ANDit’s WWE-produced?! Oh, this should be interesting. ScreenTeam, check out the trailer for 2013’s Dead Man Down, and the gang will be back next week with their review.
While this trailer certainly didn’t come outta nowhere, the gang is gearing up to to review the sequel to Stone Cold Steve Austin’s 2007 action-epic-slash-social-commentary, The Condemned. Does this hold up to the bonkers-ness that was its predecessor, especially with the one and only Randy Orton in the lead role? We’ll see as we trade in a rattlesnake in a jungle for a viper in the desert in The Condemned 2!
